This is an Invenio corpus repository providing long-term access to research data and outputs generated by a 2021 Europa Institute Basel project. High-resolution imagery of the Handelskammer annual reports is available separately as a browse-able IIIF service, but annotation of that page imagery has been analysed to extract names of persons and corporations appearing in the reports and is available here. OCR recognition errors have been corrected and names are linked to page fragments so that the original occurrence of a person or corporation in context can be assessed interactively. Additional datasets designed to be globally-discoverable and machine-consumable are also available in Zenodo—this corpus repository preserves the annotation and analysis from which those datsets were derived.
